I loved my room…it was roomy and had lots of older character. Bathroom was very spacious and modern as well. Deep tub was heavenly. Bed was very comfortable! Halls were very quiet! My room door made me feel a little uneasy as it was warped at the bottom so there was an open gap. I didn’t sleep well because of this…every noise had me checking my door. I thought the lobby area would be a bit more ‘grand’ like the pictures portray but it is quite teeny and the grande staircase isn’t even in the hotel. Overall, a lovely stay 🙂

Good: From the first minute we entered this hotel, we loved it. Our warm welcome from Pella at the front desk was incredibly genuine and friendly and helpful. She was almost the best part of our stay! Incredibly, Pella chose to upgrade us to an amazing suite, and it was beyond beautiful and comfortable. Pella also recommended a breakfast location (Fran’s) and it was great as well. I did see into a regular king-room (what we had originally booked) and it looked excellent too. Bright and roomy. The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect …close to Yonge street and all its activity and food and fun…but quiet. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when we visit Toronto. We travel all over the world and stay in various types of accommodation — this is special. Loved it here … recommend it highly. Bad: I wish we could have stayed longer!

Very nice staff, no room service, but very clean nice environment, will be back. I highly recommend it! Lady at the front desk during the day is so helpful and friendly very a nice visit, close to the Eaton Centre just a few step away from it

Rooms were clean, with nice decor and plenty of space. We had requested late check out but when we told front desk that maid service bothered us 4 times in between regular check out and late check out time, they immediately apologized and removed the extra charge from our bill. Would stay here again as it is conveniently located close to main attractions.

Great hotel and, excellent staff. We arrived at 10 am and even though check in was at 3 pm, they let us check in upon arrival. If you needed anything they had great recommendations. They were quick to service any needs you had immediately. we had a one bedroom suite and the room even had a washer and dryer! Room was top tier with large TVs. The restaurant had good food and great staff. It is centrally located and walking distance to convenience stores, malls, subways, and buses. One thing to be mindful of is that a few blocks away there are plenty of homeless people who are sometimes using drugs, but That’s more of the city’s problem rather than the hotel’s problem.
