Not only is the Allan Gardens Conservatory one of the most instagrammable destinations in Toronto, but it’s also home to tropical plants from all over the globe. Located on Carlton Street, the 16,000 square feet of greenhouses are high on our list of places to explore during your visit to our great city. The conservatory is over 100 years old and features everything from cacti to palm trees. A must see is the Beryl Ivey Knot Garden.

Local tip: The geometric traditional knot garden is best viewed from the top of the spiral mound.
